Terms and Conditions – Tasket

1. General Information

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements between Tasket (hereinafter referred to as "the Seller") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "the Buyer") for the sale of DIY bag kits and related products via the webshop www.tasket.nl.

1.2. By placing an order on the website, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the website and will apply to all orders placed thereafter.

2. Products and Descriptions

2.1. The Seller offers DIY bag kits and related materials that allow customers to create their own bags.

2.2. Because Tasket kits are partly made from recycled materials, slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur. These characteristics are inherent to the materials used and are not considered defects.

2.3. All product descriptions, images, and specifications on the website are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, small differences between the product and its description may occur.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1. Orders can be placed directly through the webshop www.tasket.nl by adding items to the shopping cart and completing the checkout process.

3.2. During checkout, the Buyer must provide accurate and complete information required for order processing and delivery.

3.3. Payment is made immediately during checkout through the secure payment provider Mollie, using one of the available payment methods (such as iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, etc.).

3.4. Once the payment has been successfully completed, the order is automatically confirmed. The Buyer will receive an order confirmation email containing the order details and payment receipt.

3.5. A purchase agreement is concluded at the moment the Seller sends this order confirmation to the Buyer.

3.6. Ownership of the products transfers to the Buyer only after full payment has been received.

3.7. If, due to a technical issue or incorrect payment information, the transaction is not completed, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order.

4. Custom Orders

4.1. "Custom Orders" are products that are made to order, personalized, or otherwise produced based on specific Buyer requests.

4.2. Due to their personalized nature, Custom Orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has begun, unless the item is defective or does not conform to the agreed specifications.

4.3. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate and complete customization details. The Seller cannot be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the Buyer.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1. The Seller will dispatch products as soon as reasonably possible after payment has been received, typically within 2–5 business days for deliveries within the Netherlands.

5.2. For international orders, delivery times vary depending on the destination, but are generally expected within 5–14 business days after dispatch.

5.3. The indicated delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to high order volumes, customs inspections, or circumstances beyond the Seller's control.

5.4. Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Buyer at checkout. The Seller is not responsible for lost shipments or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.

5.5. The Seller will notify the Buyer by email once the order has been shipped, including tracking information if available.

5.6. For international orders, the Buyer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees applicable in the destination country.

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

6.1. Buyers within the EU have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 calendar days from the day the product was received, without providing a reason.

6.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing (e.g. by email) within the 14-day period and return the unused, undamaged product in its original packaging.

6.3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

6.4. The Seller will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the returned goods in good condition.

6.5. The right of withdrawal does not apply to Custom Orders or products made specifically according to the Buyer's specifications.

7. Product Quality and Imperfections

7.1. Because our bag kits include recycled materials, minor imperfections or variations in appearance are normal and are not considered defects.

7.2. The Buyer must inspect the goods upon receipt. Any defects or damage must be reported to the Seller within 7 days after delivery.

7.3. The Seller will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund defective products that were reported in time and are confirmed to be faulty.

8. Liability

8.1. The Seller's liability is limited to the amount paid by the Buyer for the relevant order.

8.2. The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or damage caused by improper use or assembly of the products.

8.3. The Buyer is responsible for carefully following all assembly and usage instructions provided.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All designs, images, content, and materials displayed on the Tasket website are the intellectual property of the Seller and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

9.2. It is prohibited to reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the website without prior written permission from the Seller.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10.2. Personal data is collected solely for the purpose of processing orders, providing customer support, and improving our services.

11. International Orders

11.1. The Seller ships worldwide, with shipping rates varying by destination.

11.2. Buyers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees applicable in their country.

11.3. The Seller is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss during international transit once the parcel has been handed over to the shipping carrier.

11.4. Buyers must ensure compliance with local customs and import regulations.

12. Applicable Law and Disputes

12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

12.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws specify otherwise.

12.3. For EU consumers, the Seller complies with applicable EU consumer protection legislation, including the right to use alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

13. Changes to These Terms

13.1. The Seller reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

13.2. The latest version will always be available on the website. Continued use of the webshop after publication of the updated Terms implies acceptance of those changes.
