Designing through making.
Tasket is a design brand exploring a more conscious way of making. Through DIY bag kits made from reclaimed local materials, the brand reconnects people with how products are designed, assembled and valued.
Visible construction
Every Tasket bag is made from pre-cut PVC panels that fold and weave together without stitching.
Rather than hiding the construction, the design makes it visible. Every fold and connection becomes part of the final object, allowing the bag to reveal how it is made.
Local by design
Tasket works with reclaimed materials sourced close to home, including surplus sailcloth, PVC banners and truck tarpaulins.
Instead of relying on newly produced materials, the brand gives existing materials a second life. Every bag is unique, shaped by the history and character of the material it is made from.
From consumer to maker
Every DIY kit is designed by Tasket and assembled by you.
By building the bag yourself, you experience the design in a hands-on way. The making process becomes part of the product, creating a stronger connection with the object and the materials it is made from.
Tasket also hosts workshops where participants assemble their own bags from reclaimed local materials, making the production process accessible through doing.
Founder & Designer
Tasket was founded by Anouk van de Sande, a multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of graphic and product design.
With a strong graphic language and a focus on circular design, her work explores how colour, material and construction come together to create objects that encourage people to engage more consciously with the products they use.
